Medical beds are adjustable by height and by raising/lowering the head and lower body areas for the comfort and needs of the patient. People who are immobile or spend most of the day in bed may require medical beds that have more positions and options available to prevent pressure or bed sores. Developed Medical offers 2 types of Medical Beds, Semi-Electric beds and Manual beds .
The Semi Electric Bed is perfect for anyone who needs a hospital style bed at home or in a nursing home. The Semi Electric bed has a motor which is quiet and smooth when operating the adjustment of the head and foot sections of the bed, while the height of the bed is adjusted manually.
Manual Hospital Beds are medical beds that use hand cranks to raise the entire bed level, as well as the head and foot sections of the bed. Manual Hospital Beds are a cost effective solution ideal for patients who either have a caretaker or who have the ability to use the hand crank to raise and lower the bed.
Medicare will cover hospital beds to use at home when they're medically necessary. To get coverage, you'll need a doctor's order stating that your condition requires a hospital bed. Medicare Part B will pay 80 percent of the cost of your home hospital bed.
